Today I’m answering a reader question that Leilani (isn’t that a beautiful name?!), a smart reader of The Fit Shack sent to me.
This will be a two-part post - today we’ll look at Leilani’s excellent question and the awareness she has already come to and tomorrow we’ll look at how to create a stronger weight loss affirmation.
Leilani has given us a topic that you might have experienced yourself or maybe you’re even experiencing it today. We’re talking about intellectually knowing that you have a serious health issue - you can’t get away from it because it’s staring you right in the face, however even though you could either cure or greatly mitigate this issue by losing weight you don’t take the action to do it.

Stress Kills and… that’s No Fun!
Stress Kills - you’ve heard this before, right? Chronic stress creates more dis-ease in the body than essentially anything else you can “do” to yourself. Stress creates an increase in the hormone cortisol, which leads to that abdominal, omental fat, which leads to stress and poisoning of the inner organs as they are so close to the omental fat and are “fed” from it.

Conscious fitness is a part of living a conscious life - are you already living consciously and experiencing conscious fitness in your life today?
If you are interested in achieving the optimum level of health and fitness in your life then you are also striving to live consciously in order to live with full joy and top energy. If on the other hand you were to play at a lower level and choose to live unconsciously then you wouldn’t even “see” the good stuff that would be trying to come into your life, whether that good stuff be people, places, information, or things. The fact is though, that your reading of this article shows that you are truly interested in living your life big and going for full awareness in your being.
This is what I am striving for each day and it’s a basic building block in the foundation of The Fit Shack.
