Excellent post! Excuse #1 really stood out in my mind. It's so easy to delay our goals to "tomorrow". Unfortunately, a lot of us find ourselves stuck in that cycle for longer than just a day. Thanks for a great read!

Great post! The excuse about not having enough time is the number one excuse I hear, especially from moms. They tell me the kids have hijacked their day. And you know what I tell them - You must always carve out time to tend to your mind, body, and spirit. These 3 components must be in balance and functioning efficiently so that you can offer your kids a "whole person" instead of "half" a mom.

You are so right! I hear the same excuses. But it seems to me that these excuses really are an attempt to hide a lack of belief in yourself.

Yes, it can be overwhelming to learn a new way of life. You're not sure what to eat, or how to prepare new things. Its scary. Will your family like it? It just seems easier to stay with the tried and true.

But living the way you don't want to live is never easy. YOu really do want to be thin and healthy - deep inside. You just don't think you can. All ou see on TV is how hard it is.

It's not hard at all. People who simply eat a healthy diet lose the weight. Its just a matter of hcanging your habits - and summer is a great time to do that- There is so much good fresh food around!

Take a deep breath, and jump in! The water's fine. ;-)

Great post! It seems if we spent more time searching for solutions, rather then excuses we would all be better off.

Everyone has an excuse not to get out of bed in the morning. That doesn't mean you do it!

Same thing with fitness!
