Out of the 287 votes the majority of you asked for a short e-course on How To Create a Weight Loss Mindset . Well if you’ve been wondering where this course is, here’s where I could really use your help…
Perfectionism Anyone?
Are you someone who has an issue with perfectionism? Perhaps you can relate to this when it comes to eating clean and getting regular exercise: if you aren’t what you consider “perfect” then you get down on yourself and sometimes you even throw in the towel and say to heck with all of it and then eat yourself silly, all in the name of not being perfect.
Or maybe you’re continually waiting for that perfect time to get with it and change your ways. You say you really do want to live a healthy and fit lifestyle but it’s never a good time to create this way of life for yourself because things just aren’t perfect yet, so you wait until that tomorrow that never comes.
Ok, so you get the point about perfectionism, right? And if you’ve never had an issue with perfectionism when it comes to your eating and exercise habits, maybe you can relate to this in some other area of your life.
Now perfectionism is something that still comes up for me sometimes, especially when it comes to my to-do lists, and in this case with the e-course that I said I would write for you. I’ve got some awesome info to share with my based on my own experience and I just need to get it down on paper so that you can take action on it to create a positive, weight loss mindset for yourself. This won’t be posted here at The Fit Shack though, but will be available in the free e-course.
Help Me Write This E-Course
The part that I’m asking for your help on is helping me write my inspiring, motivating thoughts and suggestions down for you so that you can take action on this e-course. No, I’m not asking you to actually write it, lol. How you can help me is by signing up for The Fit Shack’s newsletter so you can get your free e-course on How To Create a Weight Loss Mindset . The more of you who do this and do it now, the more you will help me take the action of writing these lessons out for you.
I’m a big advocate for imperfect action (instead of waiting for things to be perfect, which they never are) and even so I still need to remind myself to do this at times. So, I’ve taken imperfect action by putting the sign up form up for you even though I don’t have the e-course completed yet. This way I’m moving forward with this process instead of trying to “make it all perfect” before taking action.
And you know what’s cool about imperfect action… you can do the same thing for yourself when it comes to creating a healthy and fit lifestyle for yourself: just do something now and get moving! Don’t wait for everything to be in place and be perfect, and ask for help if you need it (note: getting help from outside of YOU, like from a coach or a positive, action-oriented support group is the quickest and easiest way for you to really get what you want).
