JoLynn,

thanks for your comment on Zombie Robot Frosting

I do need to watch my other refined sugar sources too. It is really helpful information. I have made the switch from soda to tea without too much pain, but cutting out all sugar cravings will be hard.

I also cook very often. And each as many fresh ingredients as I possibly can. Great advice.

I used to eat too many sweet snacks and desserts, but have been trying this method over the last few months. I have fewer sugar cravings now and when I do eat a lot of sugar at once (like a cupcake) it makes me feel awful!

Looks like we're on the same thought pattern this week talking about sugar addiction. :) (Although I'm more of a beginner in this area and checking out a different book.)
I completely agree with you about adding protein... and the commitment part! I think the commitment to avoiding sugar is the most challenging simply because it's so accessible (and I'm so addicted to it)!
I will make a point to check out Sugar Blues. Thanks for mentioning it. I'm all about learning more about sugar addiction and how to break it! Very interesting stuff!
I'm glad the information in the book, as well as the 6-Week Body Makeover are working for you. :)

Fantastic information! I probably should take a closer look at my sugar intake. I do avoid high fructose corn syrup as much as possible but have not watched the other sugar types close enough. Awareness is the first step and I am now aware :).
