Hi Alexa,

I'm a believer in affirmations too, in fact, every thought is an affirmation - they can be positive or negative, and if you repeat them long enough, they'll become a belief.

It does take work to change your beliefs and affirmations can help....I do think that a majority of the weight loss dilemma occurrs in the mind, especially when it comes to emotional eating. It's those negative thoughts that can quickly turn your attitude and get you heading for the frig.

Thanks for your input on this, glad you liked what I wrote about Carl. :)

I thought it was really great what you were saying about Carl and how his believe system took him to where he is right now. Also, it is so true how this plays a big role in weight loss. The tricky thing is to change your thinking at times, but it is possible. Last week I wrote a post about positive affirmations you can say to yourself daily to help you change your thinking. I get reminded of them all the time, they are always in the back of my head now.
