That&#039;s very interesting, I didn&#039;t know cabbage soup was so big in the south. 

You&#039;ve gotta love being able to garden all year round - I&#039;m going to do something different and start my own garden in the spring. I&#039;ll blog about that since I&#039;ll be getting some of my whole foods from my backyard. ;)

You&#039;re right - it&#039;s not a race, I plan to keep this weight off for longer than a year this time. It&#039;s a complete lifestyle change, and I&#039;m glad I have so many tasty recipes to choose from, the cabbage soup being just one of them.</description>

		<description>Cabbage soup is a staple in the south (NC) where cabbage grows almost all winter.  We still have a few heads on the stalk in our garden.  The soup is wonderful, full of nutrients.  Not full of calories as you say, so you do have to eat some other protein and carbs.
