RSS and Feedblitz (email) Subscriptions

I’ve had a small issue with one of my plugins Antileech (I recommend it to you if you’re running a blog!), which has changed the content of all of my feeds. Whether you have subscribed through an RSS reader or through email (Feedblitz), you wouldn’t have been seeing my content. I won’t go into the details because it’s off topic for The Fit Shack, however it would be a great post for an idea I have for a second blog (watch for info on that in the future!). ;)

I changed a setting in the plugin, which should now correct the problem, but it might not update all feed readers immediately. I would think that within hours it should though, although I’m not familiar with every reader (I use Bloglines).

Thank you very much to DJ for bringing this to my attention! :)

Also, thank you to each of you who are subscribed to my feed, either through RSS or email. Now if you haven’t signed up yet, it’s a good idea so that you can stay updated on the happenings here at The Fit Shack. If RSS is something new to you, you can check out an earlier post that I wrote that will give you more information on this service, as well as on email updates.

Thank you for your attention. You will now be returned to your regularly scheduled programming. :D

Looks great. Thanks for sorting it out – I was starting to miss your regular updates in my feed reader!

  2. NP DJ, thanks again for letting me know! :D

I’ve never used RSS. I hear about it a lot, but I’ve never gotten around to trying it out. I’m just so used to visiting the actual site itself that using RSS sounds kind of weird to me.

  4. Hi Ray,

I wasn’t an RSS user either until approx. 6 months ago. A good way to investigate it is to try out one of the free readers that you can use in your browser. :)
