Today is The Day for Change - Daily Motivation

Have you been wanting to make changes to improve your health and fitness, but you are still doing the same things that you’ve been doing all along?

Do you dream of a fit, toned body, an abundance of energy, and clear, centered thinking, but you just cannot let go of the sugared, fat-filled, processed and fast foods?

If you’ve been saying that you want to change, there is no better time than today to do so.

I believe Dr. Phil is a big one for repeating the phrase, “if you keep doing what you’ve been doing, you will keep getting what you’ve been getting”. This is so true, and I’ve been there myself before: thinking about shaping up and losing weight, wanting to lose weight, saying that I will lose weight, while continuing to eat the same foods, and abstaining from exercise.

It is only by making changes in your actions that you will begin to see different results than what you are creating now. Start making changes today and get on the road to better health, increased energy, and a fitter body. Resolve to do something about your dreams once and for all, and start down that path towards achievement, rather than staying stuck in only thinking about it. ;)

This post was inspired by reading point #6 of a post, “Don’t Eat Processed Foods” by Mark Sisson. Read it today and see if you also gain some positive inspiration and motivation for yourself!

So true! I need to get back on the saddle. I lost 30 pounds this year, but then relaxed and gained a few pounds back. I still need to lose about 15 more, so I think it’s time to get after it again!

I can see that your site will be a great one for me to read! Well done, and welcome to the D-List!

Hi Court!

Thank you for your comment! :)

I know exactly what it’s like to lose the weight and then regain some; I’m “re-losing” right now. This time I am determined to maintain it because I’m tired of the back and forth with my weight.

Thanks for adding me to your list, Court, and for your kind words about my site!

All the best,

JoLynn

**Ok, I just have to clarify for anyone who reads this…the D-List isn’t what you may think (LOL!), it’s a list of sites that use the Dofollow plugin, therefore if you have a blog and leave a comment on a site using Dofollow, your site’s url will be followed or “seen” by the search engines.

You can learn more here.**

I couldnt agree more. Thats kind of what happened with my blog. I kept putting it off and putting it off. And as we know that doesnt get you very far. So last week I put it up. I have a lot of work but at least I started. Now I just need to do the same with my gym membership.

Hi! :)

@2 Bros Blogging, thank you for your comment! You are exactly correct, all of the small changes do add up.

@Macro Dave, I did the same thing with my first post. My blog was live, but I procrastinated on posting because I wanted it to be perfect…if I do that, I’ll never get anything done! ;)

Congratulations on getting started Dave, and on your next step with your gym membership. Thanks for your comments!

Ditto. I do believe that we must get out from our “daydreams” and start actualizing our dreams. I guess most people have that fear of failure that’s why they tend to dwindle in their thoughts until these thoughts turn into frustrations. But hey, you’ll never known what you can do unless you try, right?
