What do you think about when you consider taking action to lose weight? Do you focus on each of the enjoyable, healthy foods that you do like, or do you think of the foods that you think you will miss eating? Do you curse the thought of a daily exercise routine, or do you look at it as an opportunity to breathe health into your body?

You have the power to choose what you will focus on. The more you focus on the positive aspects of your weight loss regime, the happier you will be with it. While I don’t advise going on another diet that consists of eating foods that you simply cannot stand, I do suggest that you give whole foods a try. If you currently do not eat very many fruits and vegetables, I can tell you from experience that they taste just wonderful once you get off the processed foods. However, when I am eating processed food, that’s all I want: more and more simple sugars and empty nutrition.
Why not make a list of all of the positives that you stand to gain by making wise diet and exercise choices? I bet that you can come up with more than you can imagine right now.
The more you focus on the good, the more of it you will find coming into your life. Start focusing on the benefits of losing weight and see how much more motivated you are to either get going, or keep on going towards your goal.
